All materials listed here are physically available at the Main Library, Local History and Genealogy Department of the Toledo Lucas County Public Library. Please be advised that only bottled water is allowed in the department, and no other drinks or food are permitted for the ongoing preservation of the resources.

Main Library is located at 325 Michigan Street in Downtown Toledo. The Local History and Genealogy Department is located on the third floor and is available any time the library is open.

Many of these resources are available on microfilm; printing out copies ($0.15 per page) and scanning images from the microfilm are both available (don't forget to bring a flash drive).

Manuscript collections must be used in the Blade Rare Book Room. Only a laptop, camera, and pencil and paper are allowed to be used while conducting research with manuscript collections. No pens may be permitted with the resources, and in addition coats, bags, and any other items must be secured in a locker before use.
